WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

Geographically, I spent most my formative years in Wales – somehow managing to not acquire the accent! – and now live in London. In terms of what my ethnicity is, my mum is Filipina and my dad is English so I’m a mix of both.

WHO TAKES YOUR PICTURES?

Where possible, I mention the different pro photographers I work with alongside the specific shots by them in my posts. If you’re looking for someone London based, a favourite of mine is Sarah Ellen.

All other photos are taken by me, friends or family members who are handy with a camera.

HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?

With pictures from shoots, the editing is usually done by the photographer I worked with. Every single photographer has their own distinct style and their credentials should be listed alongside the shots if you want to reach out and ask them about editing directly. You can also drop me a line if you have any questions about a specific shoot or photo.

Personally, I mainly use Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop with a mix of VSCO and Tezza.

HOW TALL ARE YOU, AND WHAT SIZES ARE YOU?

I try to note the size I am wearing in most of my posts, but I am a petite five feet and I am usually an XS or XXS (UK 4 or a US 0) depending on the country/brand.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FLOWERS FROM?

Flowers are a prominent part of my book reviews. For fancy-schmancy bouquets, Wild Things Flowers, The Real Flower Company and Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart in Notting Hill are my go-tos. Otherwise, any Tesco arrangement will do!

CAN I SEND YOU MY BOOK?
*Due to COVID-19 fears, I am currently only accepting physical copies from publishers and not anything sent directly from authors themselves – VIRTUAL COPIES ARE STILL WELCOME! If you have a publishing house or agent, please have them get in touch with me to arrange sending a physical copy.*

Absolutely! I routinely work with major UK and US publishers, but I am happy to receive books from independent, self-published authors too!

Please have a read of my Review Policy first and then send an email over to me. Be sure to tell me as much about your book as possible.

I sadly can’t always guarantee that I’ll be able to say yes to every request. My professional work and subsequent studies can be demanding which means that waiting times for a review will vary throughout year. If you have a specific deadline or want the review to be timed with a launch, please let me know in advance.

WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO COLLABORATE ON NON-BOOK RELATED CONTENT? DO YOU DO SPONSORED POSTS?

For all other collaborations, please drop me an email with as much detail as possible about you, your store, business or product that you’d like me to feature. We can then discuss the type of promotion you’d like. My media kit is available on request.

ARE YOU OPEN TO FREELANCE WORK?

I am sometimes available for freelance projects such as copywriting, digital strategy and any publicist work related to publishing and entertainment. I’ve also worked with several self-published authors to help promote their novels across social media and in national press.

I have a limited number of slots available for freelance projects which varies from month to month depending on other work commitments. The best place to get in touch about potentially working with me in this capacity is LinkedIn.
