Book-related content and reviews

Before sending me an ARC/copy of your novel, please have a read of my review policy first and then send an email over to me. Tell me as much about your novel as possible!

My writing jobs and subsequent studies can be demanding, but I do try my best to get round to reading books that I accept for reviews in a timely fashion. However, I tend to prioritise physical copies of novels sent to me via post so e-book waiting times will vary massively. If you do have a set time frame you’d like the review to be completed by then please let me know beforehand in the email request.

Physical copies of novels are preferred as I like to take pictures of the book for my review and I find it fits more with the general visual aesthetic of this blog. That being said, I do consider virtual copies via email from time to time so please don’t feel deterred from reaching out. Please note that I am only able to accept PDF format for e-book copies.

All reviews I make are reflective of my own honest opinion.

*I’m looking to feature books penned by female authors or authors who identify as female as well as works with either female-driven plots or diverse storylines and characters. I’m also open to interviewing female authors/diverse authors about their work. Please do get in touch with me if that sounds like you or your book! You can find out more about the Literary Women project here. *

I’m always eager to participate in blog tours and other special literary events such as launches. Feel free to contact me via email in order to arrange anything!

Non-book related content

For all other collaborations, please drop me an email with as much detail as possible about you, your store, business or product that you’d like me to feature on the blog. We can then discuss the type of promotion you’d like. My media kit is available on request.

I am also available to hire for jobs such as guest posts, copywriting, commissioned articles as well as any publicist work related to publishing and entertainment. I’ve worked with several self-published authors to help promote their novels across social media and in national press. The best place to get in touch with me for freelance work is by email or dropping me a message on LinkedIn and/or The Dots.

Most of the photos I feature are taken by me. For example, the pictures of physical book copies in my reviews and the photos included in my personal or travel posts were either snapped by myself or immediate family members unless stated otherwise. I do regularly work with photographer friends and you will find all their credentials listed alongside those images. Please do not repost any of these without permission.

One of the reasons I love physical copies as opposed to e-books is getting to take rather aesthetically pleasing pictures with them – normally featuring a nice bunch of flowers! If you’d like to use one of the images, then please send an email my way.

If I use an image from elsewhere, I do try and give credit where possible. If you see your image being used here without the correct credentials, then please contact me to resolve it and I will either take it down or add the source.
