WHO TAKES YOUR PICTURES?

Where possible, I mention the different pro photographers I work with alongside the specific shots by them in my posts. The particular shot from this page is by Morgane Maurice who is fabulous!

All other photos are taken by me, friends or family members who are handy with a camera.

HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?

With pictures from shoots, the editing is usually done by the photographer I worked with. Although, I may make some occasional tweaks to the colouring. Every single photographer has their own distinct style and their credentials should be listed alongside the shots if you want to reach out and ask them about editing directly. You can also drop me a line if you have any questions about a specific shoot or photo!

Personally, I mainly use a mix of Adobe Lightroom and VSCO because I’m a basic girl at heart.

PLEASE CAN I COVER / MENTION / REFERENCE YOUR SEXUAL ASSAULT STORY IN [INSERT PUBLICATION]?

By all means, do get in touch via email about any press opps regarding sexual assault in higher education or even to discuss the support – or lack thereof – for disabled students at these educational insitutitions. Given the sensitive nature, I ask that you please do not repurpose my story if I am unavailable and refuse.

Unless you have written permission from me AND we have spoken about the story you’re working on, then I do not wish to be publicly named and have my experience covered, repurposed, or referenced in any media pieces that I have not been expressly involved in.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FLOWERS FROM?

Flowers are a prominent part of my book reviews. For fancy-schmancy bouquets, Wild Things Flowers, The Real Flower Company and Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart in Notting Hill are my go-tos. I also love Bloom & Wild and Forget Me Not in my hometown.

CAN I SEND YOU MY BOOK?

Absolutely! I routinely work with major UK and US publishers, but I am always happy to receive books from independent, self-published authors too! Please have a read of my Review Policy before you send me an email and please tell me as much about your book as possible.

Sadly, I can’t always guarantee that I’ll be able to say yes to every request. Waiting times for a review will vary throughout year. If you have a specific deadline or want the review to be timed with a launch, please let me know in advance.

WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO COLLABORATE ON NON-BOOK RELATED CONTENT? DO YOU DO SPONSORED POSTS?

For all other collaborations, please drop me an email with as much detail as possible. We can then discuss the type of promotion you’d like. Note: I no longer offer paid social media posts for non-book products as I’m scaling back my social media usage. As a result, I can only accommodate blog posts. I also cannot guarantee that gifted products will be included in any of my posts.
